Depending on the raw materials used, they are primarily classified into two major categories: sintered stainless steel powder filter plates and sintered stainless steel wire mesh filter plates. Sintered powder filter plates are produced using stainless steel powder as the raw material, which is consolidated through high-temperature sintering; conversely, porous sintered wire mesh filter plates are manufactured by stacking multiple layers of woven stainless steel mesh and sintering them under conditions of high pressure and high temperature, wherein the mesh openings of each layer are staggered to create a gradient pore size structure.

Since the raw material for porous sintered mesh filter plates is woven wire mesh, they share the same filtration precision range as the mesh itself, reaching a maximum of 1 micron. In contrast, the precision of powder-sintered filter plates is not constrained by the limitations of wire mesh weaving, allowing for a filtration accuracy of up to 0.45 microns. Compared to woven mesh, sintered stainless steel filter plates offer significant advantages in terms of structural integrity and consistency (as the sintered plate forms a monolithic unit where the pore structure remains free from deformation), mechanical strength, and performance under extreme operating conditions (specifically, the pressure resistance of sintered filter plates is significantly higher than that of unsintered stainless steel wire mesh).

Benefiting from their resistance to high temperatures, high pressures, and corrosion, sintered stainless steel filter plates are widely utilized across the following industries:
Petrochemical Industry: Employed in catalytic cracking units for high-temperature gas distribution and high-pressure backwash filtration;
They play a pivotal role in processes such as polymer melt processing, catalyst recovery, and solvent purification.
Food and Pharmaceutical Industries: Used for the precision filtration of liquid food products—including fruit juices, syrups, and edible oils—to ensure product purity;
