Duplex stainless steel mesh is a high-performance wire mesh made from austenitic-ferritic (duplex) stainless steel that is twice as strong as standard austenitic stainless steels (such as 304/316) and offers superior corrosion resistance. Common Grades of Duplex Stainless Steel Mesh
1.Duplex 2205 (UNS S32205 / S31803)
– 22% Cr, 5% Ni, 3% Mo, 0.17% N
– Best for: Offshore oil & gas, chemical processing, desalination.
2.Super Duplex 2507 (UNS S32750)
– 25% Cr, 7% Ni, 4% Mo, 0.28% N
– Best for: Extreme chloride environments (seawater, acidic chemicals).
3.Lean Duplex (e.g., 2101, 2304)
