The glass fiber mixed wire mesh demister is made of high-strength glass fiber and chemically stable synthetic fiber through a special weaving process. Compared with traditional metal demisters, it has the corrosion resistance, acid and alkali resistance of non-metallic demisters and maintains high-efficiency fog capture capabilities. It is an ideal choice for chemical demisters, pickling towers, spray towers and other gas-liquid separation systems.

Excellent corrosion resistance: The glass fiber body has almost no chemical reaction to acid and alkali media, and the synthetic fiber further enhances the overall chemical stability, which is suitable for corrosion-resistant defoaming pads.

Efficient droplet capture: The precision mixed structure forms layers of fiber mesh, and the droplets continue to collide and coalesce between the meshes, with a separation efficiency of more than 98%.

Low pressure drop design: Compared with the metal mesh defoamer, the non-metallic defoamer has a larger ventilation channel, significantly reduced pressure drop, and saves fan energy consumption.

FAQ

Under normal temperature, pressure and acid-base concentration not exceeding 30%, the normal service life can reach 3-5 years. In case of extremely high temperature or high concentration of corrosive gas, it is recommended to check regularly and replace it as appropriate.

Use a low-pressure water gun or mild chemical cleaning agent to rinse, and avoid high pressure directly impacting the fiber mesh; after cleaning, dry naturally or dry at low temperature.

Non-metallic demisters have stronger corrosion resistance, light weight, and low pressure drop. Glass fiber composite demisters are especially recommended in situations where stainless steel is susceptible to corrosive environments.

The thickness and wire diameter are determined by the gas velocity, droplet volume and process temperature. Generally, 100 mm thickness is suitable for medium loads, and 0.15 mm wire diameter is suitable for separating fine droplets. LiandaFiltration can provide professional selection support.
