Poröse Metallfilterscheiben

There are two main types of porous metal filter discs ,which commonly used:

Ⅰ.Materials

Stainless steel (most commonly used):304 ,316 L (acid/alkali resistant,high-temperature resistant,general-purpose)
-Special alloys:Hastelloy,Inconel,Monel (for highly corrosive/ultra-high temperature environments)
-Pure metals:Nickel,titanium ,copper (specifically designed for corrosion resistance , electrical conductivity,and thermal conductivity).

II.Two types of porous metal filter discs

1.Metal powder sintered filter discs(precision pore size)
Metal powder sintered materials are microporous materials produced by processing metal raw materials through sieving ,molding ,and sintering.
Production process:Sieving Powder –Isostatic pressing–Vacuum sintering.
-Features:Uniform pore size ,stable permeability ,high strength,and reverse-washing regeneration capability.
-Temperature resistance:-20°C to 600°C,pressure resistance up to 40 MPa.
-Advantages:Excellent air permeability ,controllable pore size and porosity,stable shape , high filtration accuracy,wear resistance,superior mechanical properties ,good thermal conductivity,excellent heat resistance and dissipation ,back-washing capability,and re-usability.

2.Mechanical punching type
The mechanical punching method involves using high-quality metal plate as raw materials , which are continuously punched into a mesh-shaped product using a CNC punch press and custom-made.
-Process:Stamping/laser drilling;hole shapes are regular (circular,square ,or irregular).
-Hole diameter:0.5 mm to 50mm
-Features:Excessively high strength ,excellent ventilation and heat dissipation.

.Application
1.Chemical and Pharmaceutical Applications:Used for polymer filtration,fine filtration of pharmaceutical bulk solutions ,and recovery of precious metal powders.
2.Food and Beverage:Used for carbon dioxide (CO )aeration in beer brewing , compressed air purification,and water treatment.
3.Aerospace:High-pressure precision filtration for hydraulic systems and fuel systems.

 

 IV.How to Select the appropriate Filter Disc

1.Material Selection:
Stainless steel (304/316L):The most widely used material,excellent cost-effectiveness,corrosion resistance,and temperature stability.
Titanium: Exhibits exceptional corrosion resistance (particularly against chloride ions), is non-magnetic with excellent biocompatibility,and is suitable for pharmaceutical applications and highly corrosive environments.

2 .Selection by structure:
Standard filter discs:Directly used as filter element assemblies
With sealing ring/support ring:The edge features a metal or rubber sealing structure for easy installation and sealing.
Centered hole/hub:Fits over the central tube like a disc,forming a multi-layer filtration disc used in solid-liquid separation equipment.
